Après avoir étudié un semestre à Prague dans le cadre d’un Erasmus lors de la licence, j’avais vraiment envie de partir à nouveau pour le stage de Master 2. Je souhaitais partir dans un pays anglophone cette fois-ci, alors j’ai choisi l'Angleterre. Plus précisément, l’AudioLab de l’Université de York, dans le Yorkshire. L’AudioLab est un petit laboratoire, d’une vingtaine de personnes, travaillant principalement sur la spatialisation sonore. Ils ont d’énormes moyens matériels (par rapport à la taille du laboratoire), dont une chambre anéchoïque, trois studios d’enregistrement, une salle d’écoute avec une sphère de haut-parleurs… After having studied one semester in Prague as part of an academic exchange throughout the BSc., I really wanted to go abroad again for the internship of the second year of MSc. I wanted to go in an English-speaking country this time, naturally I chose the United Kingdom, more precisely, the AudioLab of the University of York, in England. The AudioLab is a small laboratory of around twenty people mainly working on sound spatialisation. They have huge resources (compared to the size of the laboratory), including an anechoic chamber, three recording studios, one listening room with a speaker rig…
